Was stupidly over nervous, being infront of a third of my companys management...
The company Rollapaluza knew loads of addiscombe names and got a bit excited when they saw my jersey...!
Our marketing department said wernt allowed to use their fixed wheel bikes, we had to use the newly about to be released boardman bikes (of which theres some amazing ones! watchout for them!) so they were converted to single gear, and apparently in teh wrong ratio(according to PVT'Junior), however ideal for beginers which suited me as i hadnt ever done rollers or fixed wheel.
Did a warm up and then a timed go behind the scenes and then was paired against similar opponents.
I went against Tom Southam, and i was doing well, but flagged in the last 75 meters and he just beat me... which was a shame as it would of been grand to win!
The best time was 21.06 whcih apparently isnt very good for rollers, hower was down to the gearing.
I was in the middle of the table, with a 22.40 for 500m.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and now have done it wouldnt be at all nervous like i was, it let me down as i was just too tense! now i want another crack and might take it up for a giggle... semi seriously.
Heres some poor quality pics of the event, untill i get PR or digicamera ones.
Hopping on;

Was an awsome experience, and i watched the rest whilst i was chatting to Chris boardman himself, who i then had lunch with... was quite surreal but a brilliant day!
