As we were loading the van up for the ride to the ACC road race last weekend - a 4x4 pulled up at CSS and the guy winds down the window "Is this the big cycling club that goes out every saturday?" he asks "I've been looking for Coulsdon CC on the internet but can't find any links." I explained that we are called Addiscombe and just use Coulsdon as a starting point for the rides and invited him out the following week (tomorrow).
Anyway he explained that he'd started riding the bike about 4 months ago, wanted to get better and was looking to do a bit of training.
I of course explained that we had a dedicated 'training' group and that he should turn up and ask for George
