There's no need to rush back to training hard Stu, it is only November afterall. And the antibiotics will have given your body a kicking, trust me, I know!

Take it easy for a couple of weeks, ride as much as feels right, but don't push too hard. You may leave yourself open to new infection. I especially don't want to see you anywhere near the training group for a while... Hopefully your coach has told you all this already...

i have been assured of a plan to ease me back into it :D
i suppose i should count my blessings that it happened in November...if there was a time i could have chosen this affliction upon myself, it would be round about now

just keeping everything crossed that i never get anything like this again, 4 weeks of illness, and only 1 ride!- its been horrendous, i think im nearly insane!    (crazy high pitched laughter  )

ok, i think i must have been tempting fate!

yesterday my tonsils were feeling completely heeled, and i was desperately looking forward to my ride today.

however, last night at about 4 am, i awoke to the feeling of my tonsils hurting again slightly. i thought nothing of it, but woke up 40 minutes later and they were absolute agony, i couldnt even move my tongue without wincing in pain.

i can hardly believe it, 3 weeks of tonsillitis! according to wikipedia ive now moved into the subacute section, that lasts from 3 weeks to 3 months.

ive run out of my anti biotics now, so i guess its back to the doctor tomorrow!
