Sad News from Bike Radar

Those of you that visit "bike radar" forum regularly may know of the Poster 'the Great Gatsby'. Sadly he was killed in an accident. I never knew him personally but he was a regular contributer on issues to do with 'diet', 'health' and sometimes 'racing'. There have been so many accidents recently that sooner or later the inevitable was going to happen. Rest in Peace Gats.

Yeah even in this virtual world I live in whilst working from home you can get to 'know' people quite well. Gats used to post a lot on the old 'Cycling Plus' forum. He got into cycling pretty hard core a few years back and began racing and made it to 2nd cat if I recall after two seasons. I think he was quite young (under 30 which is young for competitive amateurs in this country) and would really put the miles in, often doing 3-4 hours rides day after day. He did seemed particulary concerned about weight loss in the last few years and eventually confessed to having an eating disorder. He got a lot of support from the forum members when this happened. :(
