Dinner time

In response to several requests as to what time this weekend's ACC dinner starts

6.30 for 'cocktails' 7.00pm start

Realistically you don't have to have cocktails - there's beer and wine, and given the queue at the bar last year when 80 odd people turned up at precisely the same moment. As it's a posh golfing hotel the bar will be open all day so it might be worth getting there slightly before 6.30 if you want a pre-dinner drink. Like 4ish

Personally I was hoping to get a quick 18 holes in after the club run but my fairway buggy has got a flat near-side tyre. Anyone know a cheap caddy?

when I was a boy I used to caddy at Selsdon Park Golf Course, I'd work all morning and get the tight one who only gave me a fiver whereas all the others got £20
