[quote="-Adam-"][quote="Toks"]Sorry if this is the wrong place. Is it possible to have an award/trophy/cup for the Addiscombe Road Race Champion A Race and maybe B Race for next year please? :D :D :D :D :D

Or even just a mention of the winners would have been nice... 8)

To be honest I thing there are enough trophies already! How about a special ACC jersey with club champ written on it!!? Would make a change. Not sure what the regs for wearing it while racing would say, but I'm sure most commissaires wouldn't mind (if they even noticed!)...

errrr
"Our club championships switched to the roads around the Home circuit and was duly won by Adam Cotterell who as a second claimer relinquishes the title once more to Stuart Chamberleyne. Antloony was a strong 'B' race winner" :?

Thanks for all your support and acknowledgement of what goes on behind the scenes to get the show on the road.

I would just echo Snoop.....any suggestions for anything we could do better, please post.

+1

There was no verbal mention, almost at all actually of the club road race.

Plus like Toks said, it needs a trophy of some description... (Which I know I wouldn't have received, even if there was one)

Now, Sylv, if it ever happens that you need a new career, i think you should take up photography. Those pictures are really fantastic, the clarity of the photos are fantastic.

Brilliant, I have had a very happy 20 minute trawling through that lot.

[quote="Michelle"]that lot.

That is also how I refer to the acc membership.

Cheers Sandr .. Michelle; I am (as always) not happy with some technical aspects, but then again I only got the camera a couple hours beforehand ..

Yes indeedy Sylv, they are great pictures well done mate. You deserve free membership alone for your efforts. Then again you've pretty much won a race every year I've known you so I guess you don't have to pay anyway. 8)

Top pics Sylv.

I for one had a wonderful evening and a fuzzy head in the morning when I had to come back and pick the car up.

That has marked nearly ONE year for me in the ACC. Now I've taken those first steps into cycling after such a big gap of not riding, there is no going back for me. I feel a better person for getting out there and having a go.

Had a small setback with coming off but that's all in the past now. I just hope the next 'off' will be a small one, fingers crossed.

Met so many great people who I would not of had the pleasure of meeting if it were not for the Addiscombe Cycling Club. I wear the kit with pride.

To the organisers of the club dinner, thank you very much for a super evening and I won't be forgetting that for a while. I won't name names just in case I miss 2 or 3 out and I don't want people to think that they are not appreciated.

Looking forward to cycling year number 2.
