Might come along to cheer/abuse/laff/cry. Too pricey to take part but I'll ride hard there n back promise!

I really want to do this as I loved the HH one a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed on the weather as I'll do it for the fun of it so won't bother if it's tipping it down.

This should be a good one - newly crowned national champion Jody Crawforth will be racing this one. He is also due to present the prizes - how will that work ?? Maybe Andrew, you could race hard so he doesn't have to present a prize to himself ! :D

I'm not in London so can't make it.

Have fun !

I raced in one of these leagues a few weeks back. a lot of the racers were on carbon frame / carbon wheel CycloX bikes with spare bikes being cleaned and re-issued every lap.

I found it hard to compete with that!

But then again I only have a single gear cycloX bike, so its to be expected ;)

I'll leave it in George's capable hands :D . The 2 I've done recently I've started at the back to keep out the way of those competing in the championship proper, the downside to this has been that there's been a lot of people in front of me to try and overtake. I'm not that slow and the general organised chaos of a CX start means I've got so far and then got stuck in a gap in the field. I'm never going to be anywhere near the front but I think if I go I'll try and start a bit higher up and stick my elbows out a bit  .

There is some posh kit out there. I've found CX to a really nice relaxed atmosphere to race in and even if you're getting lapped you're still in the same race as some of the best in the country. Good to have bacon sarnies at the last HH one too as it was a bit brass monkeys. My excuse is being on an old (circa 1994ish) MTB :D .

Alex if you're at HH tomorrow do shout out.
