The wolverines didn't get me
Another great ride last night
Lloyd Park was more rideable than the previous day, snow a bit harder
Conduit lane a well hard-packed trail thanks to all the walkers pummelling the snow
Same in Croham Hurst
Onto the golf course, snow way to high to ride in, but fortunately a 4x4 with humongous tires had had fun driving all around the course, so I followed those tracks, super hard - it was ace, like riding Santa's Scalextric. Had to go round another time to see how fast I could get to
Up to Selsdon, rode on the slushy pavement down past the Sainsbury's trying not to dab a foot, tricky
Then onto the singletrack climb on the left of the road, I almost didn't try it at all, but managed to ride all of it without stopping!
Into the nature reserve, kept going straight instead of turning right in the woods, as it's all downhill and required little effort
Then the climb, that was unrideable, it was a very long walk to the top of the golf course, punctuated with pools of hidden water
More car tire tracks on the course, this time much narrower so both my pedals were scraping on the sides
Down Rachael's, by this time I could not clip in at all, so it was a fine act of balance
Featherbed lane, totally snowy, nice
Gravel Hill, then onto the final golf course- well I opted to the road up millionaire's alley, but had forgotten how steep it was - and totally icy
Finally took our tracks from the previous day along the tram tracks back to base
