Cheers, I didn't get the tatoo customary to singlespeed World champs, but did get a permanent 1/2 inch scar on the chin further to the crash ... a little souvenir

I drafted Sylv on the commute into work and can confirm the lad's annoyingly quick. He even managed to wind up a moped rider when he overtook the bloke on that mountain bike of his!

I too got overtaken by Sylv earlier this week on my commute to work and at first did not realise who it was. I chased, as you do everytime a mountain biker tries his luck. I managed to get past him and then thankfully the traffic lights were red.

When I saw it was sylv I made my excuses that I was having an easy day due to race the day before and let him go. Real reason was there was no way I was going to have a go at keeping up with the National single speed champ. Blimey he is quick on that MTB.
