Funnily enough yesterday we were discussing running the Track Champs at Preston Park (Brighton) on 28th August with Bec. The news about HH may obviously effect this but at the moment it is difficult to know what HH will be open for and who to contact to organise things.

I am going to chat to the other clubs we normally run our track champs with and will let everyone know when we've got something sorted out.

I'd better dust the cobwebs off my track bike then.

Rob I'm afraid as a second claim member you can't ride the track championship (at least that was the case last year).

We get insured through BC at a low rate by running it as a club event. However they insist that only first claim members ride as in the past people have run 'open' events by getting everyone to become second claim to a particular club and then classifying it as a 'club' event.

I will check up to see if it remains the same this year but I am pretty sure it will be.
