We have a week's holiday near Carcassonne booked in September. Choices:
1 Fly ScrewYouAir to Carcassone, only 15km from Holiday home.
2 Fly Easyjet to Toulouse, some 60-70km away (picking up car there).

No contest - no. 2. Mind you, it could be that OhLeery just dream up such stunts to take the p1ss and get dubious publicity ...

Oh Snoop you may be quizzed nearer the time about the area.

We (I'm tagging along too  ) looked at all the options including the train down and the Easyjet option was the best at the time of booking. I'm happy with Easyjet, just would probably rather walk than use Ryanair. I expect I'll be taking the train from Toulouse though as I'll be taking my bike and I can't see us getting 3 people suitcases and a bike in a cheapo small rental car. The trains only about ten quid though and unlike here they are nice to travel on.

Have the sick bags been leak tested?

This is an airline that charges you to pay, charges you to check in, charges you to take a bag and was prepared to go to court to defend its policy of charging disabled passengers to use a wheelchair (the worst of the lot in my view, and the reason I would rather spend my summer holiday camping in a field in Wales than fly with them). What on earth makes you think their sick bags   are free?

Hence they've won the Tour quite a few more times than us Brits, huh? :?
