Ride to ACC race at Bletchingly

Postby Amy » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:53 pm

As I'm riding down anyway, anyone want to join me?

It's not far but could always do a little loop somewhere before going to the HQ (yes, I know where it is).

If anyone's interested, post here, with any suggestions for a route or a time to leave (I think we need to be there middayish). I have just thought, though, that we could have 11's at Nutfield Priory Farm :D

Hi Amy,
I am riding over to the Charlwood Cafe and meeting anyone there that wants to ride up to the Road Race, leaving around 11:00am.

Well, we'd better leave promptly from CSS and/or take the direct route down to have time at the cafe for the important things like tea and cake :D

Otherwise a lie-in and a pootle down

Sure is dude. It's our flagship event. Y'know, the one we can't get enough helpers for   . We'll probably scrape by but if it were down to me I'd cancel on safety grounds. That might shake things up a bit eh wot?

OK, I will still be riding down from CSS midmorning as I have to get the cat to the cattery first thing in the morning.

11.30 at CSS for those who want a lie-in?

9.15 CSS to Charlwood, then Charlwood to Bletchingly with the PVT racing gang for me...
Rain coat packed.
I hope Trevor stops with fresh coffee again, such a good hit last year.

I have arranged with Joe to do it this year, but do not fear, you will be provided for. Thanks for volunteering.

See you at the cafe.
