Good idea, maybe our road race secretary is organising a team ? Are you putting a FIT-FOR team in ?

Clashes with ACC open 10 promotion so quite a lot of people will be involved in organising/marshalling/competing in that.

Still think we should get a road race team, last year we were joint first on points but got demoted to second due to slightly lower placings.

I will have to check my calendar but I am up for it and I will see if I can persuade maybe Max and Toks. I seem to remember you need teams of four so Simon if you are game it could be:

Marek
Simon
Max
Toks

The way that Max is riding at the moment he will probably win by a mile, shame they don't use a hilly course as he would cane it. Just got back from the Alps with him and he demolished me.

Cheers

I'm currently injured: stupid left knee won't even let me ride for 20mins let alone race. Moral of the story: when out sprinting annoying Jan Ulrich wannabees 500 metres from the top of 'Toys Hill' don't jump in too big a gear. The knees' pretty bad so unless it heals within the next two weeks the racing season may be over

I'am sorry to hear that TOKS, as you've been going so well.

What about Tim Liquigas, Chertsey would be good for him as it normally ends in a sprint finish.

Sorry guys, I cannot make it but I think that Simon C is up for it. You will need a team of 5 riders. I will check if Max can make it for you so you will know if he can ride then you have Simon H. You will then need a few others. You could try and contact Richard Munday, Paul Tunnell or Phil Watkins. Tim Liquigas should have a go as well.

Cheers
