Quick question - anyone know who does double sided hubs (one free one fixed?)

Quick reply: Surly (you find their stuff in Brixton Cycles - fairly cheap):

Or for extra bling White Industries:

But i think only their excentric hub is reversible.

Surley.... cheap?!
I paid £28 for a Surley 15 tooth rear cog from Brixton cycles.
A Dura-ace one was £11 & Miche was £17

I got mine in Condor Cyles, it was Goldtec (i think). Wasn't particularly cheap I think around £40-50 for the hub £80-90 for a full wheel.

You've been done Brett - they are only $20 from Speedgoat! Converted into pounds and allowing for the fact stuff is cheaper over there that's about £15. £28 does sound alot really, more than Chris King ones.

But sounds like you got a good deal on the Dura-Ace.

For Surly hub, it is $70 on Speedgoat so I would guess around £50 in Brixton? I can ask tomorrow night if you want, it's on my way.

Simon

Try St John St Cycles - they'll sort you out for £29.99 (plus p&P) apparently...

Cheers chaps - just getting up to speed on the options ... I notice on-one do a reversable as well.. I presume you can screw a freehub onto one side and fix onto the other.

Glad I started a discussion anyway.

Mike - will see you on the way home tomorrow? - what day is fixed bike day?!
