Just in the process of sorting out a session with Nick as we speak. Quite looking forward to the results and to see if any changes made to my current set up (and I'm sure there will be many changes) will help with my knee pain which has kept me off the bike for 2 weeks in a hope it will get better. Guess will find out on the CR this coming saturday.

Well thats my session with Nick done and dusted. Very pleased with the results and didn't need a huge amount doing. Saddle needed raising but I had a hunch it had slipped and was going to do that anyway. Couple of wedges under each cleat, though my legs are both the same length, and that was about it :D

Obviously the proof will be in the pudding..or the riding... but after a just a quick spin for a few mins I already feel more comfortable.

Nick was very impressed with my efficiency before he even carried out any adjustments, 85% straight out the box.

Can't recommend Nick enough, really nice guy, had a good laugh while doing the fit and was an enjoyable experience except for the last 5 mins where I wanted to do a peak wattage test...which hurt.

Times running out on his offer folks, if you've been thinking about having a bike fit done then at the price he's doing them for you really can't afford to say no.

Cheers.

Would recommend the bike fit - had both of mine done (its the first time the TT bike has actually felt like it was right!!!) Was a bit dubious about how high the saddle was going but after doing the Dragon Ride - well bloody brilliant. The time wasn't great due to lack of training but no leg soreness nothing (except for the lady bits!!!!!   )

If you've got the money - do it. Definately money well spent.

I had the bike fit done just over two weeks ago. I can only echo what the others have said on here. Nick was great, it was a nice day so we did the set-up outside on the patio, 2-3hrs of setting things up and a thoroughly enjoyable chat throughout the process!

I've been riding for a long time, a fact that I had to fess up to whilst chatting to Nick, but I have to say that I now feel better than I can ever remember feeling on my bike. I have a leg length discrtepancy (LLD), which I was aware of but had never done anything about. Nick raised my seatpost ... a lot! He brought my seat forward and used a few wedges as well. I've done a fair few rides since (upto about 3-4hrs) and it seems to have alleviated some of my problems, I'm still getting used to it all, but I feel much better and more powerful (some of it may be psychological, but I'm pretty sure most of it is real!). I know that it will take time for my muscles to re-adjust etc but I feel better already, so am looking forwrd to it getting better and better.

All in all, well worth the (all things considered pretty small) sum of money paid! :D

Tried a session last night - same story as Antloony - I knew my saddle needed going up. But nothing else changed, no wedges or anything.

Had to laugh when asked how long I'd been cycling - well, how old am I?!

Anyway, watch this space and see what difference raising the saddle up makes (I've been raising it up slowly as I've been getting stronger again)
