Very sad news indeed.

Some of you will know a friend of mine spent the season riding on Franks last team, the Cinelli-Down Under squad, and had the pleasure of lining him up for his last professional victory earlier in the year.

Some would undoubtedly bring up the doping question, I and I'm sure many others would appreciate it if it were left alone, the subject has been well and truly covered elsewhere before now. Doped or not, he was still probably the most talented one day rider of his generation.

Whatever the circumstances, a tragic loss of a young and talented life.

Sad news, when he had his act together (unfortunately all to infrequently) he was a classy bike rider.
