1st club run was with John around 6 weeks ago. 1st time riding in a group after taking up road riding in May and becoming lonely and bored riding on my own. Great run felt very welcomed and looked after and could wait for the next one..
Have ridden the 17's (The fat group - only joking) since which I enjoy and aiming to move up once I shift some excess weight and improve fitness.
Foolishly 2nd club run was the Acc race at Hillingdon. Met with Toks, Alan M, Bridgette and a few others for the ride to Hillingdon.
What a race, only lapped a few times. Sean tried to tow me around once I was dropped at the 1st corner (please do not wear white next year Sean, not pleasant once it becomes transparent) I felt like quitting when Cloe, Bridgette and Maria (Redhill) lapped me again and again. Had a great day again everyone was friendly and welcoming and thanks to George for the lift home. I
Will be there again next year and will be working hard to improve. Definately would like to do some more races.
