This guy is really good. Quite expensive but knows all the right people. Tamworth Road. Great office too.

Sorry matey too busy
Any extra work will only get in the way of my cycling, so that can't happen.

Check out the RIBA
Directory Search
UK chartered practices
Do a search for Croydon if that's your location.
Ask them for a fee estimate and examples of previous similar work and if they will arrange a visit
to a completed job. :)

I don't even think my teenage daughter knows that one.

Anyone got a smily for it?

Steve

I do hope she doesn't know that one. Don't ask her either. Text me and I will let you know.

Lord Rogers probably has some time on his hands since Charles scuppered his Chelsea Barracks plans, if monstrous carbuncles are your thang

Sean, I was so busy trying to craft something along the lines of 'Croydon's been in dire need of a new architect for years', only funnier, that I initially overlooked your Mr Flora joke. Right out of the top drawer

Aren't the Glowinski's structural engineers?

Structural engineers and architects may work in the same field but one veers more towards style and the other one more towards substance - A stuctural engineer will be quite insulted if he is called an architect - and vice versa! :P

Depends on what you're doing?

A surveyor can be as good too and a hell of lot cheaper without all the rattles getting thrown out of the pram and temper tantrams. My God I have got so close to really losing it with Architects. They are real hard work.

Still keep laughing at that Flora joke.

I can also vouch for Geoff Haskins

I worked with him a few years ago on a hotel near Uxbridge and theey where very professional
and a nice person to deal with.

Quite a large practice though with some good work under their belts.

Graham Rix seems to be the architect behind a number of attractive and quality developments in Croydon recently ... http://www.grahamrix.co.uk/dynamic/cont ... =index.htm
