The rear limit screw is not for setting indexing but setting the cage limit to stop it going in to the spokes.
Back to GBs if they did it but for future reference...
Put the bike on some sort of stand (a turbo will do if you haven't got one).
In the small ring put it in the small sprocket and use the lower limit screw to set both jockey wheels in a direct line under the smallest sprocket.
Make 3 downshifts with the ergo to put it on the forth from bottom sprocket.
Use the barrel adjuster to fine tune the indexing. This is the bit between the cable outer where it meets the rear mech and the mech itself. Twisting this will adjust the jockey wheel position in and out to allow you to get it set correctly.
Run up and down all gears and it should be okay, perhaps a tiny bit of fettling with the barrel adjuster at the rear sprocket extreme but often not and if you do then only a tiny amount.
Put it in the biggest sprocket and use the rear limit screw to set the cage limit.
Campagnolo instruction sheets are good and worth printing for help until you get the hang of it. Rear derailleur is here. Have a look through the tech section and print off any others you want for the future, they're handy to have knocking about.
