Mountainbike 11th April?

Postby Grahame » Wed Apr 07, 2010 11:37 am

I won't be clubrunning this Saturday, so I fancy getting out and about on Sunday - Anybody up for a mountainbike ride?

I'm pretty flexible about location - happy to stay local, or alternatively head out to the Peaslake area for a play.

I hope to make the eclub run rather than this, but Graham if you are meeting at EC then I can come down and see you as I still have your rear light from that night ride a while back.

sounds good. Though I prefer the trails @ Peaslake I am running a conference next week so I can't get out to play for too long. So if this is an ECBR start I would love to come along, otherwise I'll pick a date for the surrey hills again real soon

OK, 10am at ECBR it is. How far we'll ride I don't know, how long we'll be out I don't know. Pace will be social, and fun will be compulsory.

Well done to everyone turning out today. 13 in total as we meet up with stragglers at Shirley Hills. From there it was Spring Wood, Foxes, up tampax alley, on the road through the top of New Addington then left down (resurfaced but bumpy as hell) highams bridleway to Keston. Ice creams, first of the summer season, then back to lindfield road social club to watch Cancellara making Roubaix seem easy.

Some photos below but there's more here ;
