But on a more serious note, I thought athletes were entirely responsible for what they took, whether OTC or prescription or whatever. So if your pack of cough sweets had a trace element of a banned substance, then tough. Ditto e-numbers in food.

Surprised his lawyer even tried that defence.

If you are 5th from last, as was Li Fuyu and get tested, somebody knows something, or his not been keeping his payments up to date

His positive is from Dwars door Vlaanderen, which finishes 2km from my house, and I have ridden pretty much the entire course... So i'd take 5th from last knowing how tough it is, a finish is a finish. Drugs or no drugs.
