Dragon Ride - what's happening Saturday evening?

Postby Mike I » Tue Jun 19, 2007 3:55 pm

I've just had a look at this

and realise I'm gonna need some carbo-loading before Sunday. Any plans to get together on Saturday evening for a plate of pasta and a glass of mineral water before an early night?

Can anyone who did it last year recommend anywhere cheap and cheerful?

Mike.

I've just booked a table at La Terrazza , in Bridgend for 8 people at 6:30

and have taken the liberty of including you , if you would like to come that is.

If any more Agreeables would like to load up on early evening pasta let me know and I'll try to add you to the table

I'm travelling with Hal and would like to join you guys for diner.

How long do you reckon the drive will be? Is around noon a bad time to leave traffic-wise?

Hi Richard

If there's any room left in the building I'm down with a pal who is also doing the Dragon - any chance of two more?

Thanks for organising the restaurant Richard. I have just rang the restaurant and added my name to the booking.

See you all there.

Aodan and I will be at La Terraza restaurant. We have booked a table near the 12-man group (which is apparently full), so will see you there.

Given that there isn't a massive reason for me to ride 200km in gale force winds and pouring rain  , I'll probably wimp out and do the 135km course. I've ridden Brecon Beacons before so I won't be too upset to leave out those windswept moors on Sunday !
