Brighton Ride Sunday 4 November

Postby mrP(Boonen)VT » Wed Oct 24, 2007 12:37 pm

The Annual London-Brighton veteran car run is on next weekend, and I'll be riding down there starting from CSS at 8:30am (and back of course)

Presumably you will be riding a veteren (pre-1905) bike Paul.
No doubt you have one from your youth hidden away in the garage.

I don't go back quite that far......at least you weren't suggesting that I am a veteran !!!!!!

I'd be up for it Paul, good fun drafting the old cars. If it's cold you just ride behind a steam car for a little while :D .

I'll have just started my winter training after a break though so will be after a steady consistent pace (but not slow - Toks  ), not charging along like my ar$e is on fire, like the summer CBCs.

Agree, I'm winding down, so just follow down at a comfortable pace and a steady ride back.

Bounce.

Weather due to be chilly (ride next to a steam car's boiler to warm up) but sunny.

This is a great ride alongside the old cars. Is it going to be just Paul and I?
