Ditto, even the light were with me a lot of the time. :D
I only saw one other cyclist and he seemed to think we were in a race  . Didn't say hello, fixed stare, etc. I felt like telling him to relax a bit, it's only a ride to work. 8)

Fantastic, wind behind, tailgating a lorry down the A23 at about 35 mph, didn't quite have the puff to stay with him up the slope of the bypass and then got caught at the lights

Managed to then find another victim. One of those annoying cars that drive between 25-28mph and never seem to go away. Decided to get past him on the Brighton Road just before South End. He then realised he had a cyclist going past him down the bus lane and sped up :D

Even though it was 6.45am I was very warm and I was sweating buckets after that bit of effort. Time to start teaching the body about pain I guess for the upcoming season.

Why? Has the wind been kind and changed direction to push us home. If it hasn`t I wouldn`t say I am looking forward to a 20 mile slog into the wind!! Character building!!!

[quote="Seanieh_Has3TktsWant1?©"]There were no tail/head wind issues for me ;-)

From my experience that probably means you had a tailwind and didn't realise it, you will on the way home  .

Dream commute for me as well, no hold ups getting into the kitchen- no queue for the expresso machine.

walk to the shed was fine, even with a blood level of 40% proof!

Key fitted first time  , then a nice 2 and a half hour ride, with special K and the TSN crew.

With you all the way there Mr Munnery, though it was nearer four hours for me by the time I got home. Sorry I didn't say good bye, I looked around and you'd vanished!

The traffic was beautfully clear as I hammered down Gatton Bottom at 70km/h!

Did warn you. I fell for that a few times in TTs when I thought I was going well until I approached the turn and saw people suffering coming the other way.
