Good call, Alan. I'll try to get along there this Saturday - 10-11.30 is ideal for me.

Adrian and I did the intermediate track training. I arrived a little late and had trouble locating a track pump but otherwise my bike which had been stored there over the winter was good to go. I counted about 45 in the group and we did an number of different exercises including through and off, paired sprints and small group chases. We ended on a 20 lap race. I didn't feature to much in the mix but was usually in the upper quartile! Saw Maria and there and loads of Rollapaluza members, some of whom were comparing tattoos! It was an energetic session and offered good sprint practise and some endurance work. At 12 the novice group turned up for induction and numbered about 20. The coaching was firm and quite explicit with safety as the major theme. I will probably go again in a few weeks.

Well worth the visit on Saturday morning - a lot of riding in a relatively short space of time.

I'll definitely be back - and next time I'll consider sticking my own saddle on the (excellent) hire bike, or at the very least spending more time tinkering with the saddle position to get it right. As it was, my glutes took a hell of a beating

Hi Sylv, I have gone down a few times, it has been on when the track is dry but that still means a fair few sessions have been cancelled this year. I don't know if it was on this Sunday as it was spitting a bit when I woke up Sunday morning.
