Thanks, Tamar. Though I'm still riding like a brick - real hard work riding today :(

Had the scan this morning - appointment was for 9 but they saw me before and I was back out and catching the bus before ten past

The gel was quite warm - almost hot, in fact! Everything looks OK, nothing abnormal or to worry about though apparently I have a lump of calcification on my liver that's probably been there since I was born

So my excuse for riding slowly is lack of fitness which this weather isn't helping :( Some good news though - I noticed that I'd lost the fat 'panniers' off my hips this week so I can't have muscle weakness back again :D

Of course, the 'Classic' breakfast at the Hackbridge greasy spoon after I got back from the hospital probably won't help....

Good to hear and a proper breakie would coat your insides for a bit of handy central heating in this weather.

I was thinking about you on Saturday - good job the main snow fell after your appointment.
Glad all is well.
Wish I could loose the spare tyre around my waste as well as the panniers!

Thanks, Tim. I was sitting in the cafe eating breakfast during the blizzard, meanwhile the waitress put her coat on and went out for a fag break  You really had to admire her dedication...
