[quote="Dombo"][quote="Snoop Doug"]carbon bikes suck. that is all

In what way?

In a thoroughly unscientific way. Since I traded my aluminium stelvio in for a Pearson and a Cervelo I had nowt but trouble. I think I just prefer something that feels a bit more solid, even if it's not so light. Hey I know where I can make some weight saving for sure :D and it ain't on the bike. Simple truth is most folk ride bikes that are waaaay too good for them. Nowt wrong with that mind you, and in my experience, simple is better.

Good luck on your search :)

A 22lb bike that fits you properly is way better than a 15lb bike that doesn't.

Most carbon bike manufaturers are trying to get their bikes to feel like steel, only lighter.

Lots of people will tell you that a lighter, more expensive bike will not make you any faster. They are right, but ignore them anyway.

Other than that, I agree with Snoop.
