what sort of time do you think we should get there. I`m a bit worried about getting across Hamptom Court Bridge Road-I think I can get opposite Amy`s parents house via back doubles.

BTW: Has anybody seen a start sheet?

My suggestion is to meet at Geoffrey Butler's for a 09.30 departure, which should get us over to Esher for 11.00 via a fairly direct route (but allowing for some faffing, navigating around road closures and/or getting lost).

As I'm going to my parents' anyway, why don't I lead you over there? Either I can come to GBs or you can meet somewhere nearer me... Wallington Green? I'm hoping that there are crossing points too - my parents' are on the inside of the circuit...

Somewhere like Wallington Green would suit me and Tom better rather than riding all the way into Croydon. Also riding in a group means I don't have to bother looking up a route. 9:45 at Wallington Green?

I love it when a plan comes together :D

9.30 at GB's, then 9.45 at Wallington Green.

Where will you be in Easher? I'm hoping to cycle from Tolworth and meet you there ... still trying to talk mum into more baby sitting. Otherwise I'll bring the little man, but not sure the best place to park and get nearest to the route??

We're aiming for Weston Green on the Hampton Court Way - follow the Portsmouth Road towards Kingston to the Scilly Isles RAB and turn left until you hit the time trial route again.

Have to admit it could be fun getting to my parents, as we have to cross the Portsmouth Road too somewhere - though I'm hoping it's not too much of a problem as people were allowed to cross the Hampton Court Way in the morning and even ride on it before the road race went through.

Lucy, might be an idea to find a railway station on the Waterloo-Guildford line and get a train to Esher - you'll be inside the circuit and only need to walk across the common to get to Weston Green.

Looks like it might be busy at Weston Green, THAMES DITTON (not Esher...) as they're going to put a big screen up
