Thats a good idea, and if Rob is riding we could send him off the day after everyone else.

Cheers

tamar, could you annoy who ever controls the acc funds for this road race champs. if the race was run with just rental and permits, its as low as £35, so once we include some cash prizes, overall prizes, and some cakes(which will be free to people entering) i say your looking at about max £100, then charge each acc member say something like £4, and then the acc will probably end up being in profit, and having still too much money for the bank!!!

sooner i get the go ahead, sooner it happens, then we can have a club road race champ in august!!

Committee gave go-ahead for funds. Need to make sure date doesn't clash with:

open 10 on Sep 10
club track champs on Sep 11
presidents 10 on Sep 17

Think there were a few other unsuitable dates mentioned which I was going to check in my notes last night but forgot! Will check tonight.

Feel free to post if anyone else is aware of other events we should avoid clashing with.

ok i need help with this...im gonna book the track for
20 th august....a Saturday where we can have the track for about 12/1

is everyone ok with that? if i dont get a no were onto something.

im gonna need help with spreading the word.

maybe you guys could organise a club run down there

and your right dave, this isnt a handicap..so one big race will be run, but there will be two groups of results, depending on ability.
