Thanks for the warning Sylvain, but all calm as I arrived back in Croydon yesterday morning. The taxi driver told me of the tornado - she said typhoon! so I had visions of tsu nami proportions. I managed to top her by recalling our recent earthquake at 5.3 on the scale. In fact I didn't feel it as I was out on my bike but others reported the earth moving for them! Have a cold and jet lag but hope to be well enough for steady on on sat.
