[quote]Toks. There are some goals I'm keeping all to myself
Personally I think your goals are more achievable when you make others aware of them. Because when/if you lose your 'zip' people are great at giving you psychological digs in the ribs or just keep going pep talks so that you remained focussed. Trust me it works! If I didn't make you guys aware of my goal last season and kept it to myself I probably wouldn't have bothered when things weren`t going well and I suddenly became this anonymous bunch finisher.

Just between me and you the reason why a certain tall polish bloke at the club never made it to 2nd cat last year season (despite being a stronger racer than me) was because for some unknown reason he refused to make it his season's goal. Hence he just ambled merily through the season and eventually raised his game when it was a bit too late :( Nevermind I'm sure he won't do that next year :D

Sean Where did you teach English??
America perhaps????

Also geting beaten by someone on a fixed bike when you had the advantage of all those gears!!! TUT TUT TUT!!!

Definitely should have had something in reserve for the inevitable Merstham drag (It goes on and on and on).

Also its important to keep well hydrated whilst riding a bike so I advise you to " keep your powder" wet not dry as Andrew helpfully advised. I suspect ulterior motives.

Toks is right, writing down and telling others your goals is much healthier than keeping them to yourself. Note to self make some goals for season.

Whats with the cryptic clues Ian? My guess is your talking gobble-de-gook and that the answer is on page 95.
