Are taking in enough carbs whilst riding?

Reagrding recovery I use Amino Load much eaiser to digest than thick Rego drink :-

Have been using the SIS Rego chocolate drink on and off for a few years. Andrew quite properly compares it to barium meal, and I can't say I've noticed any difference it makes.

As for hurty legs, as much stretching as you can be a*sed to do as soon as you get off the bike, then a hot bath followed by a cold shower (this latter applied to the legs only). Does the trick for me, and I have suffered in the past with sore legs for days after a hard ride.
