[quote="orv"][quote="Andrew G"]I have small hands so the fishing reels are too big and clumsy.

Remind me again which ones are fishing reels, which ones are hungarian tractor levers?
Lost track of who I'm supposed to be cheering. Which ones are the precision far eastern technical marvels and which ones are the european lumps of artfully hammered pig-iron?

With an Italian bike you should be hiding in a darkened corner if it doesn't have Campagnolo on it.

"Fishing reels" = Shimano amongst whose first products were the ratchet action fishing reels that provided the inspiration for the first STI levers

"Hugarian tractor parts" = Campagnolo whose early product line included parts for tractors and whose "Hand crafted Italian" claims disappeared out of the window when they decided to reduce costs (but not customer prices) by outsourcing their production to former communist states.

As for which you are supposed to be cheering. That, like the comfort factor, is personal and subjective.

Ha, I feel safe. I have a Campagnolo derailleur clamp on it to shield me from your taunts. :) (true)
