Not much 'sneaking' as I recall - the break went on the climb before Cowes and like all breaks you were either in it or you weren't :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I think the first one meant that there was only one chain ferry, and the second that we'd have to wait a couple of minutes before it got back. The third I took to mean we should get ourselves a coffee while we waited.

That's that version of events I remember. I'm sure Chris and Brian concur 8)

Great idea. I'd go back there like a shot.

This year we'll bring along a walking companion for Sarah. He can help out with the lamb hotpot as well:
