Been up the minor injurys and been re-dressed and all cleaned up again, the magic pads feel really good.

The nice bit was the nurse pulling the cotton wool out of open wounds

Mayday tomorrow morning to under advice of nurses tonight to get my knee re-examined. Its the size af a large cake now.

Please tell me what time the Half & Half doo is on so I can book all my various clinics and doctors around it.

And if you think i'm wearing this head bandage, you've got another thing coming

Sorry you are broken.

Hope you get fixed fast, and are soon back bringing your own brand of quiet, subtle humour to the club runs.

Here's the target - I'm not on a club run now until 12th July. Hope to see you at that one.

Mark, this sounds terrible.

[quote]Friends went into the only house down that lane who seemed to have a fist aid kit ready and waiting, a bit of blue peter style repairs to the chin and right knee

However the "fist" aid kit sounds a bit scary, I hope that wasn't painful

Ow ow ow!

Get well soon, and eat loads of wonderful things that will help heal you quickly...that does include a few bits of chocolate and a glass of red wine a day.

No, not an hour, a day.......

Sorry to hear about your argument with the black stuff Marky . Your body may be broken and battered but your sense of humour is still firing on all cyclinders. See what happens when you go out on non-club events. Hopefully see you at the half and half.

ROAD RASH

I've been covered in patches/pads which seem to be doing a fantastic job.

The product is called 'Mepilex', not sure if you can buy them as the hospital put them on me whilst moaning at how expensive they are. The phrase 'Am I bovered' come to mind.

I think its a space age Silicon based foam pad that feels really good on the sore bits, the say that they should be left on for 5 days then Hey Presto...... cured.

Staying on the bike is a different way to a pain free life

PS Happy birthday Tamar :P , I'm sure we can fit '21' straws into a pint for you to honour your special day 8)

Ouch and double ouch. Sorry to hear this, M-M. At least you got that smokin' TT in first.

That sticky-back plastic must have stung a bit when they pulled it off :o (Finbarr - no!)

I was told by family to stop clowning around and stay off the black stuff

Good advice. I mean, I've had a few close calls myself after a few pints of Guinness.

More like smouldering ashes on the TT

Luckily enough the facial hair has started to grow and pushed the sticky-back plastic off

Stella it is for me tonight then   :D

when I crashed last year my local doctors put on a big dressing based on seaweed or something that was developed for burns victims, worked really well and was very comfy, and the rash healed up without any scars, marks etc. Sorry I don't know the product name.
