Pics from Tamar for posting up.

Great helicopter to get a lift in, a painful way to get it though. The break sounds nasty but glad see you were smiling (the drugs ?) and hear that it'll heal up nicely.

Thx for all your good wishes.

I had a nice visit from George today with a card and a bottle of wine (that I can't drink at the mo cos of the painkillers I'm on :( )

Glad you approve of my choice of helicopter. When the doc said that I could choose the colour of my cast I immediately asked for yellow...but they didn't have yellow, so I ended up with blue.

See you at AGM next Wed.

Get better soon, Tamar.

I suggest that you should milk this one for all it's worth. I've been trying to milk my shoulder injury at every opportunity for over two years now and I think my mum has finally cottoned on that it's actually been pretty much fixed for a long time now. Still it got me out of washing up, etc. whenever I visited...

I'm sure a few choclate cakes will aid recovery.

Will we all get to sign (and write rude things on) your cast at the AGM next week?

Get well soon Tamar.

Oh Tamar.

Your choice of colour is so cool, we want pics of that too.

Yellow was a must for me too

If you can't drink the wine because of the pain killers......

Pain killers or wine? 8) Hmmmmm tough one that, they both do the same job but one tastes alot better.

Get well soon and do the physio as soon as possible.

Cast was removed this morning and replaced with an adjustable boot thing. Ankle v sore out of plaster - felt all sick and weird with poor swollen foot lying nude & vulnerable on the plaster table - had to recline for a short while until I felt better - v embarassing. :(

Orthopaedic chap not happy with alignment of tibia. He's going to study x-rays and consult with colleagues but may need to operate again next week. :(

Feelin' v sorry for self.

Fingers crossed the alignment is okay and you don't need another operation on it.
It's freezing outside though, you're much better off in a nice warm house. Hope you're not too bored, let us know if you want any books or owt to help occupy yourself with as I'm sure between us all we could come up with a fair selection.

Thx - I'm actually OK for books - my library had a sale a month or so ago and I picked up 33 books for about £15...and still have quite a few of those to get through. Plus I've been lent a couple of DVDs....but if you do have any good movies you wouldn't mind lending then pls do bring along to AGM.

They don't have to be cycling related.

Ta v much.
