If they read the letters I wrote to the national exec each of the three times that I have resigned (once from a paid membership, twice from a free membership that I took just so that I could write to resign again), then yes, they will be aware. I have also emailed
membership@britishcycling.org.uk to say that the money I was considering using to join post-olympics has, instead, been sent to the Kimmage defence fund.
What have/will you do to protest at their complicit support of the UCI, Keith?
Good for you Grahame, as it appears to be something you feel strongly on. Anyone who feels equally strongly on the topic could do well to follow your example of doing something positive. However I'm not a subscriber to the group taking some combined negative action as its first course of action. I'd rather you inspired the group to take some positive action, if at all.
What will I do? Nothing. But then I don't feel passionate about the UCI management situation. I follow the goings-on with mild fascination, but that's about it. I am however passionate about participation in road racing, so it's not something I'd lightly jeopardise. I don't apologise for being selfish.

I think it would be more honest for the club to consider and discuss it's position, rather than just sit passively by.
Indeed, and I think that's what Dan and I appear to be doing. Engaging in discussion.
