Snow MTB Ride - Sat 9th Jan - 9.15 for 9.30 East Croydon

Didn't ride yesterday, so got out for a blast today.

North downs way from caterham to Reigate Hill, deep virgin snow most of the route made for a lung busting strengh sapping ride. Came across a snowboarder going down the North downs way towards M23. Instead of taking pics I stood and watched his style.

2 1/2 hours total time. Great fun when I wasn't pushing.

Although the snow is nice cannot wait for proper riding. Roll on the rain.

I believe Photobucket is the thing. Stick image on there, put the URL in an img tag. (don't use it myself - I stick things on my home webserver).

I got the snowboard out of the loft today. Yes, it's a novelty snowboarding in Surrey, but walking back up the hill is hard.

I've turboed my way through Blade Runner and V for Vendetta in the past 10 days. Bored now. Might go out on the MTB one night this week (anyone fancy Tuesday night from Tattenham Corner? Thought not).

I did my computer o'level 30 years ago... why didn't they teach me how to upload photos or other useful things like that What use is punched tape, paper cards, binary or hex code to me now

Marcus, I work in IT. That stuff is useful for solving technological problems, but in the modern IT environment, 90% of problems are political. The technology is the easy part.

And if you're desperate, mail be the photos (add a '.' and a '@gmail.com' to the middle & end of my username) and I'll sort you.

Thanks Phil I have it sorted with Flickr and Tinypic. Tinypic I found quite slow
The advance in technology doesn't always make things quicker, better or easier..... somethings are ok as they are and don't need fixing or improving. Rant over, I'll just go and get some coal for the fire on my way back from he outside loo
