[quote="sonic909"]Roll on summer then, i can't wait to hear the noise they are supposed to make!
They only make the noise when you are going fast, so you better buy some power cranks to make sure you are going fast efficiently so you can hear the whoosh and whirr of your Zippy wheels.
Just my tuppence worth on this, when I have done a bit, and I mean a smidgen of training with one legged stuff on the turbo trainer, it does seem to make riding with two legs a lot easier afterwards. Maybe prolongued periods of doing this with something like power cranks would have a positive benefit. Remember Adam some of us have day jobs so we can't spend as much time as you riding and resting so we need the gimmicky quick fixes.
It sounds like Paul H and George who both have them like the effects that the cranks have, they are pretty well trained athletes for the time they have to train it sounds like it has given them some benefits. I kind of trust Paul on this one as he is a very competent athlete who would chuck his power cranks out if they were not working or having any benefit, or he would try to sell them to me for double what he paid for them.
Cheers
