Did anyone see the cyclist fall over at the depart

Thought it was a bit of banner falling to the barriers at the side of the road and then realised that there was a bike and a pair of legs flailing to get back up - embarrassing... Looked like a red and black kit.

[quote="Andrew G"]Four British stage winners :D :D :D .

Well, Manx, Belgian/Aussie, Maltese, Kenyan ...

But four out of the five riding for Team GB in the road race winning stages is nice.

I like Millar. He didn't fight stuff through the courts for years, he put his hand up and took it.

Pierre Rolland is a very naughty boy.

Tom asked who put the tacks on the roads. I set him straight - it's Vehicle Excise Duty.

Well, that was a dull stage. Also as the mainstream media start to get interested, avoiding spoilers until you watch the highlights is becoming harder. Wonder if I can get away with watching the streaming Eurosport coverage on my phone at work on Wednesday.

Well, a blow for Team Radio Leopard Shack Nissan Trek Pro Cycling Team Team. And we thought it was the fans taking the p1ss out of Frank.

If he took anything he should ask for a refund, it wasn't working.

Theories:
1) Someone from RSNT spiked him because of the whining about wages owed
2) He drank something meant for one of the old guys on the team who has problems with their waterworks
3) An agent of Bruyneel spiked him
4) He's an idiot

[quote]Although it was not apparent on the early climbs, Evans was already struggling even before the stage began, suffering from a stomach upset. "When you have only two hours before the race there's not a lot you can do," he said afterwards.

Richard Virenque said on French radio he'd seen him having chippolatas and white wine at a team BBQ on the rest day!

Shame to see Cadel crack like that. He has a hard bustard and nothing short of losing both legs would stop him trying to compete.

Do not know what the leaky boys were up to today. Sitting on the front and trying to out-diesel Brad on the climbs was never going to work. If Nibbles and VdB could've double-teamed Sky on attacks then maybe they could've broken them but it wasn't to be. Seems like Nibali is content to hang onto a podium place rather than go death or glory.

Maybe this is what clean cycling racing looks like - boring.
