Guys, I might be up for this as well. Doing the UK etape and with no major miles in my legs over the last 3 months this is would be useful (if not a bit late) preparation.

Forecast is clear with a tailwind on the way back, should be good.

I done the route back over devils dyke a couple of times. It takes quite a direct route up to pease pottage.

I will consult the map and try to remember..

Fingers crossed the weather for tomorrow looks like it may be a damn site better than today.

That said with the amount of rain today the old favourites of Slugwash et al may be a touch dodgy so a main road run might not be a bad idea.

If the weather looks reasonable and I can get out of the house on time, I hope to join the early starters at CSS at 7.00..............but don't wait for me as it's only a definite possibility at this stage.......
