If anyone's going down by car and heading past Sutton and has room for an invalid I'd love to come down and watch and help out/shout support/be a general pain...plus her indoors wants me out the way as she's fed up of hearing my sobs of anguish and pain everytime I walk past my bike.

Bring her with you, Ant.

You could chase her through the woods at Holmwood this time. :D

There's all sorts of hedges and stumps you can trip over and damage yourself in ways that even you haven't dreamt of yet!

But, we'll have no talk of your "swellings" while the competitors are out on the course!!

 Thanks Del. Might just end up doing that, must remember to wear some protection though....

....my cycle helmet and some shin pads should suffice.

Many thanks to all who were involved in putting on this evening's events; organisers, time-keeper, pushers off, supporters and solitary heckler (you know who you are!)

Excellent turn out this evening, nice to see so many people out giving it their all. Gutted I couldn't ride as conditions were good but still enjoyed having a chat and taking pics.

Managed to grab a few pics, good to see some tongue action esp from Keith and Marco. Had some camera issues, mainly caused by me not charging the batteries  so theres a few peeps missing and some out of focus shots Im afraid.
All I need to do now is upload them onto here but I haven't the fogiest of where to even begin so could be in for a long wait to see them plus Ive about 25 usuable ones. (this is where some kind person offers to help/tell me how/do it for me)

Message for Del. Millets sale, half price on all compasses and maps. Get yourself down there so you dont try and get lost....again :D

Big thanks to Snoop for the lift there and George for the lift home, cheers guys.

Oops, I did it again! (c) B Spears

I took the Capel exit again at the first roundabout, the 2nd time in my 2nd TT. A 100% record so far!

Luckily Jane (who shouted "Noooooo!!!) behind me had the sense to ignore my stupidity and keep going towards the 2nd roundabout.

Ant was ready to photograph us and looked suitably bemused as he watched a Jack (me) pursuing his Jill (Jane) who was by this time about 400 yards in front of me. Jane set a tough pace, but I caught her by the 2nd roundabout.

Great night. Only the 2nd ever TT for both Jane and I, so allowing for my complete uselessness at the first roundabout, a good result for us. I think we did 27.35, which was 2 mins better for Jane and about 10-15 secs better for me.

Note to the organisers: Could we position Snoop at the first roundabout next time, with a huge pirate flag and a big sign saying something like "Yarrrr! Take the 2nd exit you stupid boy!" :?
