[quote="Ivor"]..... after winding Andrew up for the past 20 miles about him bottling it. :) :) :)

Oh and how dare those TT-ers call *us* the mad ones!

I offered my spot to the other 3 but it went strangely quiet :D
Yeah TT-ers must be mad....Now who was on this ride Ivor?

I was up at 7am yesterday and only grabbed an hour between 9 and 10 last night. Had an hour's kip after my shower and feeling nice and perky now :P .

Certainly an interesting experience - somehow very different riding in the dark in the Summer - perhaps you get used to it and expect it in the winter...

Shame about the weather - will have to do it again in better conditions.

Excellent write up from Mr  . Except i didn't get wet from the spray off the roads as I had mudguards!!!! A small consolation for riding my commuting bike.

I had to get home, change and drive up to Cambridge to pick up Ian and all his belongings, having finished his sojourn at uni, pack the car, go and have a meal (including a well deserved Peroni Gran Reserva) and drive home, then empty the car. Had a few drowsy moments but kept going until 11:00pm (23 hours awake - how do they ride 24's?????) when crashed out, although after a good sleep, woke at 7am with no alarm and was up all day Sunday as normal, although felt a bit tired, and still sluggish today on the bike.

I would have been most happy to have actually reached "evens" let alone average.
