It was a very big hill when I was a little girl :(

But I do think it is a viable alternative both as a route and a meeting place - it could encourage things to move more quickly, especially in winter :mrgreen:

You can then either drop back down to the usual club run above Merstham or if you do my whole route, look at doing the thru'n'off from the otherside of Crawley.

Perhaps we should get together, put a submission together and present it to the committee?

The only problem I see is that the Farthing Downs meeting place could be a bit esoteric / hard to find for a newbie, whereas CSS is easy peasy to find.

Fair comment though the prspect of a safe start to the CR without taking on that junction would encourage most newbies to find the place eh? Maybe a couple of volunteers could wait @ CSS then herd people to the safe start. It's not far from the station...
