[quote="kieran"]Anyway Andrew how can you call RP boring when you do TTs??

:D I don't only do TTs, I try and do a bit of everything which is why I'm rubbish at all of it  . Granted it is TTs in the main. I just think doing loads of laps of RP is a bit like being in a hamster's wheel, and with the 20mph speed limit combined with the various other uses the park has (families/wildlife) I don't think it is the best place for "training rides" which seemed to be what was being said on the other forum as to what it was being used for. I appreciate that the odd lap to or from work is useful but that's different to organising a chain gang etc there. I just think training paced efforts/rides should be done out on the roads and not in a park, for the consideration of others as much as anything else.

If other cyclists make comments about LD there, how do you think everyone else feels about it? Reflects badly on all of us just like jumping red lights.

sounds like it should be an olympic sport like pole vaulting.

Anyway the LD have some very good riders, and all clubs over a certain size probably have their share of 'bad' riders. I seem to remember a few times on the 'race' back home on the club run a few dodgy moves by some ACCers at roundabouts and red lights, riding 3 abrest up hill etc.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

I thought it was a typo and should have been RSJ, no wonder I was finding this thread confusing.

Good old rolled steel joists, where would we be without them.

Under a pile of dust and rubble I guess :)
