Rather than strapping my pedal to the chainstay, will I be allowed to remove my chain?

I have a SRAM chain, so a "Powerlink" makes chain removal and refitting easy.

[quote="Paul on the Pearson"]Not sure this is one for me,but as you dont have to pedal I might ride "side saddle" as I reckon it'll make me more aero :?

You could try this.

Why not? I'll be freewheeling, unable to pedal, etc.

Regret that I'll be unable to make it to either the freewheel comp or the dinner as I have developed a serious foot infection and am imobilised at home :(
Have a good time everyone.

Doesn't look like I'll be out cycling again for a while unless anyone has a left foot only or hand cranked recumbent that I can borrow - Just as well that I didn't book to go to Mallorca in Feb then!

Who makes the rules?

So if you want to win this all you need to do is ride a fixed then basically, unfair advantage me thinks.

Maybe - there are a lot of other factors to take into account. Try it and see...

Paul it is unfair, because the fixed rider has the ability to shift weight from one side to the other by rotating the cranks. So why cant a geared bike rider remove his chain?

I don't compete in events that aren't a level playing field... haha, see what I did there...

Those bikes you mention Snoop, you mean something like Chloe rides?

You're right though, there is no level playing field, why else would my doctor cost so much?
