So who is actually going?

It's looking very likely that I probably won't be :(

The very intense bit of my Level 3 coaching qualification falls on either side of this and I'm going to be impossible to live with.
But there's enough people who know the way round the island by now.

Still hoping to make it but I'll be able to make a final decision a couple of weekends before when I've completed the first set of exams

I'm looking very doubtful. Work situation is a bit iffy at the mo' and I want to see how things pan out before resuming my champagne 'n' oysters lifestyle in full.

MTB - route??? = 60kms ans 1,200m ascent. (http://www.singletrackworld.com/trailguide/uk/south-east/the-isle-of-wight/)
Thanks re the mag Huw.

MTB would be nice and different, I'm easy though re road or offroad and can go whichever suits others. I'm booked ferry and B&B already so I'll be over there drinking Witchcraft and Ringwood 49er regardless of the type of bike underneath me.

A few not making it now, a few expressed an interest earlier in the thread are any of these turning positive?

Sorry Locky I've given the lift to Jon as he's booked up. So far it just looks like the two of us representing Addiscombe in Salty's.

This has been a road trip in the past, any of the MTBers interested now Jon's raised that as an option. Personally if it was MTB I'd prefer something of reasonable distance and pace and not just a pootle about, it's too far to go just for a lazy spin either on or off road.

It seems that this trip has lost favour.
No dinner at The Bugle then. :(
If anyone who is still going wants to visit us in Ryde let me know.
Cheers,
John.

Hi Andrew,
If you do the route shown, when you get to the northern point of the route just south of Ryde you would be about 200 yards from our house.
HOPE TO SEE YOU.
Cheers,
John.
