You have to cut it to the right length whatever the brand :roll:
There's nothing to stop you using the KMC links with other brands - I do. It certainly make cleaning chain and gears far easier.

As Keith says you still need to trim them to length :roll: .

Going to be replacing most of my chains soon, found a good deal on Merlin Cycles, where you get 3 for £48 [url=http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/bicycle-chains/kmc-x10-chain.html]here[/url]. They come loose rather than in a box but who cares.
