[quote="Snoop Doug"][quote="Andrew G"]I shall pop over to the Half n half afterwards Dombo, suspect I may not be alone in making that walk.

I may pop over there before too

Due to the logistics, my chauffeur would rather drop me off earlier so may see you in there.

Anyone found to be too drunk when I pick you up at the Half'n'half, will be left there

I trust everyone who came got home OK! Only  and Mr Hemming continued drinking by going into the Half'n'Half afterwards. Everyone else had homes to go to

I had a very enjoyable time and hope you did too. Only 6 of us in the end but it made a nice little conversational group - and the restaurant was completely packed anyway

I liked my cards though I don't think I'm "a nutty little fruitcake steeped in alcohol" - at least not steeped in alcohol anyway  Thank you, Marcus, for my plant (it is a Calla lily, isn't it? You'd removed the labels). [It's the one with the very phallic stamen and the waxy looking reddish 'petal'.] Very pretty, I think.

Very good food again at Sangri - just as good as I remembered.

What Snoop said, very enjoyable evening, thank you.

For the record Jon and I only had one in the Half n Half. It's changed a lot since I was last there which was when Karel was still in residence, Saturday night it's a real poncy cocktail bar type place. Bar our beer everyone's drink took five minutes to prepare and involved sh1t loads of ice, some fruit salad, and a not very big double shot of bacardi  . A bit of an alcoholic slush puppy.

But on the plus side, the scenery has improved
