Hi Michelle, sorry no can do on this one I'm afrad. I hung up my road bike after I did my final road race at the end of September. This race is a bit out of kilter for me now, especially as a) I am a 2nd claimer so not eligible, and b) I'm doing the cyclo cross thing, so will be at Penshurst preparing for that race.

Still, Misses Collis and Heritage may join you on the day and make it a sweet smelling race. Even if they don't, just enjoy yourself - I see you like the Hillingdon Circuit.


By the way, I enjoyed your write-up on SheCycles. Glad you enjoyed the women's festival of racing, and good luck for next week.

I don't see how anyone can possibly comissaire and organise categorisation when they're in the race itself.

As I'm not, this is how I see it, based not on BC categories but club run/training group performances

W's and J's have their own categories even though they're part of the 'B' race and hopefully a few more will turn up or we already have winners in both cases, coongratulations Mo/Michelle

5 laps neutralised at the start to give less experienced riders a 'settling in on the course' period and to stop some damn fool (probably Marek)attacking from the gun and having a load of riders going round on their own for an hour.

Paul T gets a five lap penalty in payment for his pathetic performance last season when he made the lap counters job impossible by getting repeatedly dropped from every group in the race.

Any shouting/spitting/hair-pulling or bullying down the back straight when you think your out of sight is to be greatly encouraged and spot prizes will be awarded accordingly.

Any riders with ACC permanently tatooed into their forheads get a 15 lap start.

That about covers it
